Tianjin Tanggu Watts Valve Co., Ltd. (TWT for short), is a joint venture by and between the former Tianjin Tanggu Valve Factory and American Watts Industrial Group. The joint venture contract was signed in July 1994 for 30 years of joint venture period, and the joint venture was founded in August 1994.It is the first joint venture among the 29 members of American Watts Industrial Group. It has a registered capital of USD14.14 million and the aggregate investment of USD 26.42 million. It achieved the annual sales of RMB 140 million yuan (RMB 130 million yuan in 1998), and value of export of RMB 60 million yuan in 1999.Tianjin Tanggu Watts Valve Co., Ltd. has a land area of 80,000 sq. m. and modernized plants equipped with state-of-the-art manufacturing, processing and testing equipment. Boasting strong technical force, it has passed the certification of ISO9001:2000, EU directive for pressure equipment 97/23/EC, and a series of international authoritative certification like China Classification Society factory certification. It is one of the manufacturing centers in Watts Group's global strategy and also acts as the manufacturing center of Watts Group in Asia.

To cater to market demands for product variety and quality, we keep developing high performance valves with high value-added technological content. Over the past two years, we have developed over 100 specifications in five series. All new products are designed and manufactured in terms of the international standards, among them, four new products have obtained the national patents, five obtained scientific and technological achievement incentive of Tianjin, two are listed in the national trial production plan of new products, and two were awarded the new product award by the national committee of science and technology.
